Hi there,

I was born in Norman, Oklahoma on September 1st, 1978 to Alan Colby Acock, and Delores Antonia Acock. (People call her Antonia, and I am named after her). My Dad is a sociologist, and my Mom is an artist; becoming a graphic designer is sort of square in the middle of both of those two professions, so I'm not quite sure who to blame. Either way, I'm pretty happy with how I ended up.

I turned 30 31 this year,(OMG IM OLD)and realize I haven't changed much in the last 15 years. I still skateboard, bmx, and sloppily play drums for punk bands. I am also way too comfortable with a can of spray paint. I just don't seem to grow out of things, but I manage to get in trouble less as I get older.

I went to Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon and studied under some amazing professors. They helped curb my love of letterforms in graffiti to a love of letterforms in typography. They taught process, theory, and concept above all else. I left college with a BFA in Graphic Design.

I've been Vegan Straight Edge for most my life, and dedicate as much of my free time as possible to animal rights issues. I have son named Gabriel Louis, and he is my everything. Todo para la familia.
